To collect baseline information to evaluate the synergistic impact of the Alive & Thrive (A&T) interventions program on community components in Vietnam.
This survey was produced, collected and funded by the International Food Policy Research Institue (IFPRI), Institute of Social and Medicine Studies (ISMS) and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), respectively.
The dataset contains information on the general characteristics of the community, infrastructure of the commune, distance from the nearest central town, type of transportation used to reach this town, natural disaster occurring in the commune during the last year, presence of other organizations or support groups, availability and access to health services, availability of education facility.
Data was collected using a sample survey. The mode and research instrument used to collect the data were an in-person interview and a structured questionnaire.
