To provide a greater scope of sanitation level information to bridge the gaps in census data.
The data was collected to provide more information on open source for drinking water, access to improved sanitation, and access to hygiene/ soap
The dataset contains WASH indicators that more specifically inspect the sanitation facility conditions like depth of latrines, toilets/latrine privacy, type of toilet facility used (covered pit latrine, ventilated improved pit (VIP) latrine, and flush toilet), waste pits that are three feet below the latrine hole and unsafe sanitation facilities which include uncovered pit latrine, bush, and other.
The data was collected using sample survey.
