To map out indigenous people who have access to improved sanitation services in 11 countries of the Latin America and Caribbean region.
This study is part of World Bank Group (2016), Water and sanitation services.
Dataset entails: country, percentage of the indigenous population who have access to water sanitation services, percentage of the non-indigenous population who have access to water sanitation services and percentage of indigenous people out of total population in 2010. Indigenous access to improved sanitation is classified as: low, very low, medium low, medium and medium high. Indigenous peoples are 26 percent less likely to have access to to improved sanitation than the region’s Non-Indigenous populations
