Dataset Objective

To estimate factors that affect household fecal waste management to achieve an open defection-free community.

Context

The research hypothesis is that developed constructs such as Awareness about reuse opportunities associated with sludge(AW), Economic Factors of faecal waste reusability(EC), Environmental/Health factors of faecal waste reusability(EV), Social acceptability factors of faecal waste reusability(SA) ,and Factors of sanitation technology(ST) are the significant factors affecting households' faecal waste reuse.

What is included

This dataset entails household ID, toilet facility, number of households, type of toilet, toilet roof material, wall material, handwashing material, and sanitation technology.

Collection Methods

Household surveys - Data was gathered through a questionnaire survey adopting the face-to-face interview approach in order to achieve maximum recovery of data. The study adopted a four-level multi-stage survey approach from the state to the polling units level.
