Dataset Objective

To provide sanitation systems options from 41 potential technologies appropriate for a Katarnyia in Nepal.

Context

This data is generic and can be used to identify locally appropriate sanitation system options and quantify corresponding resource recovery and loss potentials in any case.

Data contains refuse potential, treatment options, energy from wastewater, water supply, pour flash toilet, dry toilet, urine-diverting dry toilet (UDDT), urine storage tank, dehydration vault, faeces storage chamber, single pit, twin pit, composting chamber, vermi-composting, septic tank, motorized transport urine, human-powered transport of urine, motorized transport of dry material, conventional sewer, solids-free sewer, urine bank and others.

Collection Methods

Literature review and sample survey.
