Drought can be generally defined as a temporary meteorological event, which stems from a deficiency of precipitation over an extended period of time compared to some long-term average conditions. Drought always starts with a shortage of precipitation (compared to normal or average amounts), but may (or may not, depending on how long and severe it is) affect streams, soil moisture, groundwater, etc.
This dataset entails probability of annual precipitation, annual river discharge, biophysical vulnerability, drought run duration, agricultural water crowding, infrastructure vulnerability, socioeconomic drought, drought risk index, drought duration length index, drought duration, and human induced soil.
Integrated data from publicly available global datasets, collected through satellites imageries and surveys.
