To explore and evaluate the impact of the three activities (Outreach campaign, Direct assistance program, and Women plumbers program) under the Water Smart Homes (WSH) program.
MCC’s $273 million Jordan Compact conducted a public outreach campaign targeting household water use; provided household water infrastructure; and trained female plumbers through the $4.7 million Water Smart Homes Activity (WSH) in Zarqa Governorate.
Data contains the three units of analysis information (Outreach Campaign - households, Direct Assistance Program - households and Women Plumbers Program - individuals). The information includes household demographics, water subscriber information and billing, water sources, a household roster, water-borne diseases, sanitation and hygiene, and income and consumption, income and consumption, infrastructure observation, and perceptions of the WSH-ISW program, a self-assessment of skills, career, participation in similar training programs, and monthly customers/plumbing jobs.
Data was collected using computer-assisted personal interviews (CAPI), audio recordings and recorded and qualitative notes.
