Dataset Objective

Data were collected to provide baseline information on the current problems associated with water use, supply, and sanitation in Blantyre and Lilongwe in Malawi.

Context

This was a baseline study to help in forming various recommendations and policies to facilitate adequate and sustainable water supply and sanitation for the two cities (Blantyre and Lilongwe).

What is included

Data contains the households survey responses on water and sanitation conditions for the two cities.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using literature reviews, household surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews and reconnaissance surveys.
