Dataset Objective

To collect baseline information for improving the design of existing Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) messages to improve water, sanitation and hygiene practices in the 3 counties and selected communities in Greater Monrovia.

Context

Since February 2010 CHF International (CHF) in collaboration with PSI/Liberia has been implementing the five-year Improved Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (IWASH) program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The purpose of this study is to collect information to improve the design of existing BCC messages to improve WASH practices in the 3 counties and selected communities in Greater Monrovia.

What is included

Data contains the responses on knowledge, belief and self-reported practices for the sampled caregivers.

Collection Methods

Data was collected using rapid qualitative research (PRA) and ethnographic methods through a sample survey.
