Dataset Objective

To monitor and evaluate water sector activities conducted by MCC in Lesotho.

Context

MCC’s $362.5 million Lesotho Compact (2008-2013) constructed latrines and water systems in rural areas through the $40.1 million Rural Water Activity.

What is included

The baseline version of the survey contains items on basic socio-demographics, household access to water and sanitation, water consumption, hygiene and health profiles. The endline survey included the same items in the baseline survey and added indicators on labour i.e productivity and income.

Collection Methods

Sample survey conducted on 72 villages for both surveys.
