To provide data on the drought condition and land cover in South Africa between 2014 and 2021.
Data covers the period 2014-2021.
The dataset contains province, drought status overview, drought status overview comparison, land cover, vegetation status trend comparison and drought status trend. Drought status is classified as no drought, wet and very wet—drought status outlook as stable, improving and declining. The land covers consist of barren land, water bodies, wetlands, cultivated, built up, mines & quarries, forested land, shrubland and grassland.
