To assess the functionality of water points in Sierra Leone.
31,345 water points across the country were mapped . 20,673 are technically functional, a further 2,108 were functional but partly damaged, while 6,055 were recorded as broken down. Another 813 points that were still under construction at the time of the survey were also mapped.
This dataset entails district, water point name, community name, longitude, latitude, depth of well (in meters), water pont functionality, broken water points, time is taken to repair broken water point, frequency of chlorination, water availability, drinking water source, water point reliability, water quality, year of construction, implementing agency, water point owner, WASH management committee, Open defecation practice, declaration of ODF community, number of latrines, handwashing facilities and handwashing with soap.
