To monitor the water quality and water sources in Mexico.
The Water Quality Management Department aims to integrate, generate, apply, and provide reliable information and technical and regulatory tools on water quality, in order to increase knowledge and support its management.
The 8 water quality components/ indicators (value of Total Suspended Solids, in milligrams per liter, average Dissolved Oxygen Saturation e.g.) with their monitoring sites, name of the watershed where the monitoring site is located, name of the water body where the monitoring site is located, latitude and longitude location among other descriptions.
The data was collected using water quality sample analysis from the selected sites.
