Dataset Objective

To assess water bodies and their characteristics in South Sudan.

Can be used for mapping & Visualization - creating maps of all lakes, rivers, and other water features in South Sudan

Data contains fresh water marsh, lakes, salt pans, lakes, seasonality of the water feature, and types of water source.

The file was developed from several map sources (TPC, British topos, Russians and a lesser degree, the Landsat 7’s).
