To measure change in water-use efficiency across all sectors and ensure sustainable withdrawals and supply of freshwater to address water scarcity and substantially reduce the number of people suffering from water scarcity.
Indicator 6.4.1 tracks the value added in US dollars per volume of water used in cubic meters, by a given economic activity over time. It considers water use by all economic activities, with a focus on agriculture, industry and the service sector.
This dataset entails geographical location, water use efficiency status, yearly details, water use (agriculture, irrigation, industrial), proportion of irrigated land, observation status, and water abstraction.
