Dataset Objective

To estimate Nairobi residents' willingness to pay (WTP) for reliable domestic water via catchment conservation.

Context

Assessment study. While The Sasumua Reservoir supplies 20% of Nairobi's water, reservoir water quantity has been impacted by human activities. Landholders within the catchment have no incentives to take into account this impact in their decision.

Data contains households demographic information (age, sex, education level, marital status), the primary source of water, monthly expenditure on water, water shortage awareness e.tc
