Dataset Objective

To assess the impact of BRAVE (Building understanding of climate variability into the planning of groundwater supplies from low storage aquifers in Africa) project.

Context

The data was collected between October 2019 and February 2020. The study was funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Grant NE/M008983/1 conducted in Burkina Faso and Ghana. BRAVE is a ‘Consortium’ research project that is part of the UPGro (Unlocking the Potential of Groundwater for the Poor) programme.

What is included

Data contains the responses of women and men on their behavior and livelihood change within the communities due to the BRAVE project. These changes include access to water, training on water management, water access, among others.

Collection Methods

Data was collected through sample surveys administered using questionnaires.
