Dataset
To gather information on pesticide use and practices, risk perceptions, knowledge, precautions and damage averting behavior, and health effects in Bangladesh.
Primary data are on 132 randomly selected pesticide applicators in the production of major pesticide intensive crops such as Boro (winter rice), potato, bean, eggplant, cabbage, sugarcane and mango across 11 districts of Bangladesh.
Data contains household-level information on pesticide use, including protective clothing, the duration of using pesticides, knowledge, income level, education level, pesticide equipment, and other details.
Data was collected using a sample survey.
