To evaluate the impact of the Revenue Administration Reform Project on the efficiency of tax administration, tax revenue and incidence of corrupt activities in the Department of Finance (DOF), the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and the Bureau of Customs (BOC).
MCC’s $385 million Philippines Compact (2011–2016) supported three projects, which aimed to reduce transportation costs through road rehabilitation, expand the fiscal space through improved tax collection efforts, and empower communities by investing in small-scale, community-driven development projects.
Data contains the information on compliance with tax obligations, Socio-demographic profile of taxpayers, perception of corruption by taxpayers on Bureau of Internal Revenue, Level of awareness of taxpayers concerning their tax obligations, Level of satisfaction of taxpayers with BIR's respective services and programs used among other key tax-related responses.
Data was collected through questionnaire sample interviews.
