To provide data on the population characteristics of Nepal.
Dataset highlights projected population dynamics in Nepal computed from baseline population data collected in 2011.
Dataset contains: total population, total male population, total female population, population of children aged 0 to 14 year, population of working age population aged 15 to 64 years, population of elderly aged 65 years and above and women in reproductive age, 15 to 49 years old.
Data is based on modelling of the following sources: Population Census 2011 from Central Bureau of Statistics, Demographic and Health Surveys (2011, 2016) and District Migration Data provided by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Department of Foreign Employment, Nepal.
