To provide a demograhic data for Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

Context

Alpha Version data set contains an ARC/INFO Workspace with grids of demographic data from the year 2000 census. The grids have a resolution of 30 arc-seconds (0.0083 decimal degrees), or approximately 1 square km.

What is included

This dataset contains age (1year and above), race and ethnicity (asian, african american, non- hispanic, white alone), housing (housing unit, population in a housing type), and land area in km2.
