Dataset Objective

To provide a gridded data on country-level population and downscaled projections based on the SRES B2 marker scenario.

Context

These global grids were generated using the Country-level Population and Downscaled Projections Based on the SRES B2 Scenario, 1990-2100 data set, and CIESIN's Gridded Population of World, Version 2 (GPWv2) data set as the base map.

What is included

This dataset entails urban population, rural population, country name, country code, region, and population growth rates.
