Dataset Objective

To study the trend of population density globally between the year 1971-2020.

Context

It’s an interactive map / visualisation of world population density (people per square kilometre), for the year 2020

What is included

Dataset consists of a graph displaying the population density for the year 2009-2020. Population average annual growth rate of 1.49 % as at 2020 is included. Comparison of the population density of 1971 which was 29.02 persons per square kilometer and currently at 59.92 persons is also added.
