Dataset Objective

To inform on the future number, demographic structure and territorial distribution of inhabitants in Albania.

Projection covers the period 2019-2031

What is included

Dataset contains: population projections by 5-year age-groups (men and women), medium growth scenario, female population projections by 5-year age-groups, medium growth scenario, male population projections by 5-year age-groups, medium growth scenario and population projections under the regionalized (prefectures) medium growth and medium internal migration scenario.

Collection Methods

Data is estimated by INSTAT through retropolation of the enumerated population on 1st October 2011.
