A dataset of global monthly precipitation updated from the 3B42 dataset presenting global data sources, namely high-quality microwave data, infra-red data and analysis of rain gauges.
The dataset is created from the TRRM-adjusted merged microwave-infrared precipitation rate (mm/hr) and root-mean-square precipitation error estimates, the global data sources include, high-quality microwave data, infra-red data, and analysis of rain gauges at granule size of one month.
