This is a a Beta version and is used for tests only.
Dataset consists of 3,700 records of hydropower dams with a capacity of > 1 MW.These are dams under construction or in advanced planning stages. Attributes are: main river closest to the hydropower, major basin in which the dam will be located, capacity of the dam, stage of construction and the period of construction.
Data was collected from numerous sources, peer-reviewed literature, publicly available databases and contributions from non-governmental organizations.
