To show the nitrogen flux coming from onsite waste disposal systems into the oceans.
This layer was developed as part of a geospatial database of critical anthropogenic pressures to coastal waters of the Main Hawaiian Islands for the Ocean Tipping Points project.
Data contains the total flux within a 1.5 km radius of each oceanic cell measured in grams/day per km2.
Data was collected through wastewater monitoring and sample water quality testing and analysis.
