Dataset Objective

To provide data on the water quality of rivers between 2001 and 2011.

Context

Data covers the period 2001-2011. Rivers consist of: Ganga, Yamuna, Narmada, Godawari, Krishna, Mahanadi, Cauvery and Brahmaputra.

What is included

Dataset consists of the following water quality parameters: Temperature, pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Biological Oxygen Demand, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Total Coliform and Faecal Coliform.

Collection Methods

Water quality tests and monitoring. Original Source: Central Pollution Control Borad and also published in statistical year book 2016 by MOSPI.
