To display the surface water extent in the central parts of Bangladesh.
This is a preliminary assessment and has not yet been validated in the field. It is important to consider the characteristics of the source imagery used in the analyses when interpreting results.
Data contains the total land surface in hectares and meter square of irrigated cropland and rainfed areas and locations.
Data was collected using satellite imagery - a Sentinel-1 satellite image acquired on 12 August 2017 with a total surface of 4,280,650 ha
