To map out the hydrographic information for regional and global scale applications in a constant format.

Context

The HydroSHEDS project was initiated in 2006 by World Wildlife Fund US with the goal to create free digital data layers in support of large-scale hydro-ecological research and applications worldwide.

What is included

Data contains the georeferenced data sets (vector and Rasta) at various scales, including river networks, watershed boundaries, drainage direction and flow accumulation.
