Dataset Objective

To assess the water quality of Bagmati River in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Context

The four sites of Bagmati river are: Sundarijal, Gokarna, Gaurighat,and Khokana bridge.

What is included

Dataset consists of the following water quality parameters: pH, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, total dissolved solid, nitrate, ammonia, total hardness and magnesium. All water samples are within the desired limit given by national drinking water quality standard, 2062.

Collection Methods

Water quality tests and laboratory analyses conducted by Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Nepal.
