To assess the water quality of Bishnumati River in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The four sites of Bishnumati river are: Budanilkanth, Balaju bridge, Sobhabhagwati and Teku Dovan.
Dataset consists of the following water quality parameters: pH, total dissolved solid, electrical conductivity, nitrate, total hardness, magnesium, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, ammoniacal nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, total organic carbon, iron, total coliform and E. coli. All water samples were within the desired limit given by national drinking water quality standard, 2062.
Water quality tests conducted and laboratory analyses by the Department Of Hydrology and Meteorology, Nepal.
