Dataset Objective

To provide a comprehensive database of small lakes polygons with permanent open water bodies and surface area ? 0.1 km2.

Context

Comprises of permanent open water bodies with a surface area ? 0.1 km2 excluding the water bodies contained in Global Lakes Wetlands database-1(GLWD-1).

What is included

This dataset examines source of polygon,lake or wetland type, surface area of water resources, perimeter in km, reservoir storage capacity, geographical location of the reservoir, and source of the reservoir.
