What is included

Dataset entails the Total No. of Water Bodies and their maximum area (sqkm), Current No. of Water Bodies and their maximum area (sqkm), Current Actual Area (sqkm) - (5000 ha and above, 100 to 5000 ha, 10 to 100 ha)

Collection Methods

The water spread area information is extracted using images of 6 m to 56 m resolution for delineating water bodies of size as small as 0.025 ha and 50 ha respectively.
