Quality of the Land Surface Temperature.
This dataset was collected using remote sensing. If there is no precise land surface temperature observation, then the previous value of land surface temperature is used. As a result, the observation quality is reduced by 10% each day. However, suppose there is a precise land surface temperature observation. In that case, the new land surface temperature value will be a weighted mean of the previous observation and current observation, based on their observation quality.
