To provide data on health care facilities with basic sanitation services and hygiene facilities.

Context

Percentage of health care facilities with improved sanitation facilities which are usable with at least one toilet dedicated for staff, at least one sex-separated toilet with menstrual hygiene facilities, and at least one toilet accessible for people with limited mobility

Dataset consists of: improved sanitation facilities which are usable with at least one toilet dedicated for staff, at least one sex-separated toilet with menstrual hygiene facilities, at least one toilet accessible for people with limited mobility, reference area, health care facility type and residence.

Collection Methods

Sample survey data - The indicator data draw on inter-agency estimates and nationally representative household surveys such as Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) and Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS).
