Dataset
To evaluate the effectiveness of the hand washing intervention in schools among school-aged children and to assess whether children are effective as behavior change agents for proper hand washing among peers, family, and the wider community.
The data was collected as a baseline and endline assessment on provision, accessibility and participation in handwashing.
The dataset contains information on availability of handwashing facilities in schools, their accessibility, perception of school administrators towards the provision of handwashing facilities and other relevant handwashing indicators.
The data was collected using assessments of schools at both baseline and endline, Key Informant Interviews at both endline and baseline with school admins, and assessment of students households with one of their caregivers at endline from the treatment schools.
