To provide data on the ratio of female learners to school toilets and drinking water Namibia.
This is a baseline survey of the sanitation and hygiene conditions in schools of Namibia as a part of UNESCO’s World Map Points of Interests Initiative (2014).
Dataset contains: city, region, number of female learners, number of male learners, number of teachers, water storage, water point functionality, drinking water quality, types of toilets, number of female learners using one toilet, number of male learners using one toilet and cups with handles used by children and teachers to take drinking water. School toilet ratio is 56 boys per 1 toilet and 48 girls per 1 toilet.
