Context

This data is collected in response to biennial UNSD/UNEP Questionnaire on Environment Statistics.

What is included

Table displaying the percentage of the resident population connected to the wastewater collecting systems (sewerage) in 41 countries.

Collection Methods

Data are based on official statistics supplied by national statistical offices and ministries of environment. Additional data is sourced from Eurostat and OECD data portals.
