To provide data on sensitivity of areas receiving wastewater discharges.
Data covers the period 2011-2012. Those data were collected from the reporting of European Union Member States, as part of the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (UWWTD) implementation, which concerns the collection, treatment and discharge of urban waste water and the treatment and discharge of waste water from certain industrial sectors.
Dataset entails wastewater discharge points and the sensitivity of receiving areas. Discharge points consist of: sensitive area, catchment of sensitive are, less sensitive area, normal area, application of article 5(4) and application of article 5(8).
