To provide baseline information for the impact evaluation of the new irrigation scheme in Kpong and the renovation of two irrigation schemes in Botanga and Golinga.
MCC’s $536.3 million Ghana Compact (2007-2012) funded the $188.7 million Agriculture Project, which included the Irrigation Activity and Post-Harvest Activity that aimed to increase the production of high-value crops by building and rehabilitating irrigation schemes, constructing post-harvest infrastructure, and improving public sector capacity.
Data contains annual production output, total household income, total household income from crop production, paid employment per household, crop yield, and other demographic and household components.
Data was collected using a farmers' households survey.
