To assess preferences concerning drip irrigation systems promoted under Punjab Irrigated-Agriculture Productivity Improvement Project (PIPIP) in Pakistan.
Contributors of this survey were the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Department of Environmental Studies, New York University, Institute of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan and CGIAR Research Programs on Policies, Institutions, and Markets.
This dataset entails information on the differential preferences along a gradient of drip irrigation experience and exposure, household information such as education, farm holdings, cropping systems, and patterns.
Data was collected through farmers' households surveys conducted among 475 households across four districts (Attock, Chakwal, Layyah, and Sahiwal) in the Punjab province of Pakistan.The unit of analysis was household and individual. The survey instrument was a structured questionnaire.
