The dataset studies irrigated crop area by the level of water stress and volume of demand, crop harvested area that is irrigated vs. rainfed, crop production by water risk, crops (bananas, arabic coffee, barley, beans, cassavva, chickpea, cocoa, coconut, groundnut, cowpea, cotton, maize, potatoes, rice, sourgam, wheat, tobaco, yams, tea, vegetables), crop production by groundwater table decline, seasonal variability for rainfed crops, world prices for major commodity crops, drought risks, coastal eutrophication potential, population at risk of hunger, and total crop production.
