To estimate the size of water pumps needed for irrigation system without over pumping the water source.
The tool was created to estimate a minimum requirement for the size of water pump (hp) needed for irrigation systems without over pumping water sources. It was written as part of the MIT CITE Solar Water Pump Evaluation (cite.mit.edu) in collaboration with Technology Exchange Lab (www.techxlab.org).
This dataset entails the crop value, water source value, irrigation system value, and minimum required Horse-Power(HP).
