To provide data on water stress in irrigation land.
This study is part of UNEP-DHI and UNEP (2016), Transboundary River Basins project.
Data consists of: code, basin code, number of countries sharing the basin, surface area, number of inhabitants in the basin, score, norm score and risk category. Agricultural water stress is categorized as: very low, low, moderate, high and very high.
Data is calculated as the mean annual irrigation water consumption divided by the sum of mean annual runoff (MMR).
