This dataset entail number of people employed in the non-agricultural sector, proportion of urban population, road density (in km per 100 km2), distance of the district headquarter from Kathmandu (in km), log of average capital budget expenditure (in Million NRS.), illiteracy rate, access to safe drinking water, the percentage of population without access to sanitation, and infant mortality rate to assess the level of need in a district.
Literature review: The data for covered variables are taken from the national census report and the human development report published by UNDP.
