To provide data on Chikungunya fever incidents per district and region.
In Jamaica, local transmission was identified on 5 August 2014. A total of 5,180 cases of Chikungunya fever were notified to the National Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health since May, 2014 and as at the end of 2015
Dataset entails: sex, date of onset, parish, community, location, population, infection rate per 10000 population, region, Chikungunya fever count, number of suspected cases and epidemiological week. A total of 5,180 cases of Chikungunya fever were notified between May, 2014 and the end of 2015.
Data is based on reported cases per week from National Epidemiology Unit.
