Dataset Objective

To assess the seasonal change of mosquito population in irrigared and non irrigated ares in Tana river county, Kenya.

Context

Data was collected between September 2013 to November 2014. The data were collected and analysed by experienced researchers from the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE Kenya), the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI Kenya) and the Kenya Medical Research Institute(KEMRI).

What is included

The dataset contains longitude, latitude, species, sex, village, collection date, and the number of mosquitoes.

Carbon dioxide-baited (CDC) light traps.
