Dataset Objective

To show water facilities accessibility in Mantapala Refugee Settlement, Zambia.

Context

This project is carried out by UNHCR Zambia and focuses mainly on Congo (Democratic Republic) - Refugees.

What is included

Dataset consists of: total number of boreholes, total number of image-detected shelters, percentage of shelters by distance from water facility, borehole, block, health facility, school, reception centre. As of 2018 there was a total of 36 boreholes and 2901 image detected shelter.

Collection Methods

Satellite imagery, sample survey and monitoring.
