Dataset Objective

To measure the extent of water salinity in tube wells and rivers in India.

Context

Water is not potable if its salinity exceeds 1 part per thousand (ppt), and water cannot be used for dry season paddy irrigation if its salinity exceeds 2 ppt.

This datset entails block id, tube well water, tubewell salinity, average salinity, water source, latitude, longitude, salinity ppt, river salinity and salinity category.
